How to Replace a Delta Bathroom Sink Faucet Cartridge

Turn off the water supply. There should be two shut-off valves under the sink. Turn both valves clockwise to shut off the water supply to the faucet.
Remove the handle. Most Delta bathroom sink faucets have a handle that is secured by a screw. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw and pull the handle straight up to remove it.
Remove the cartridge retainer nut. The cartridge retainer nut is located behind the handle. Use a wrench to loosen the nut and remove it.
Pull out the old cartridge. Once the cartridge retainer nut is removed, you can pull the old cartridge straight out of the faucet body.
Insert the new cartridge. Take the new cartridge and insert it into the faucet body. Make sure the cartridge is properly aligned and seated correctly.
Tighten the cartridge retainer nut. Use the wrench to tighten the cartridge retainer nut. Do not overtighten the nut.
Reinstall the handle. Slide the handle back onto the faucet body and secure it with the screw.
Turn on the water supply. Turn the shut-off valves under the sink counterclockwise to turn the water supply back on.
