Drain Stopper

The drain stopper is typically made of rubber or plastic and fits snugly into the drain hole. When the drain is closed, the stopper forms a seal that prevents water from draining out. To adjust the drain stopper, simply remove it from the drain hole and adjust the height of the rubber washer. The washer should be high enough to create a tight seal, but not so high that it prevents the drain from opening and closing properly.
Lift Rod

To adjust the tailpiece, simply loosen the slip nut and adjust the angle of the pipe. The tailpiece should be positioned so that it drains water properly without causing any leaks.
