New drain assembly

Safety First

Remove the Old Drain

Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the slip nut that holds the drain assembly in place. Once the nut is loose, you can remove the drain by hand. Use a putty knife to gently scrape away any old plumber's putty from the sink opening.

Prepare the New Drain

Apply a bead of plumber's putty around the base of the new drain assembly. This will help seal the drain and prevent leaks.

Install the New Drain
