How to Install a Delta 3-Hole Bathroom Faucet

When it's time to update the look of your bathroom, the Delta 3-hole bathroom faucet is a perfect way to combine style and functionality. But what if you're not a plumber and don't know how to install it? We'll walk you through each step, so you can do it yourself like a pro.

Gather Your Tools

Before you start, make sure you have all the tools and materials you'll need:

Crescent wrench
Adjustable wrench
Phillips head screwdriver
Hex key
Plumber's putty
Teflon tape
New faucet

Remove the Old Faucet

1. Turn off the water supply to the faucet. This is usually done by turning off the handles under the sink.

2. Disconnect the water supply lines from the faucet using the adjustable wrench.

3. Remove the mounting nuts that are holding the faucet to the sink. There are usually two nuts, one on each side of the faucet.

4. Lift the old faucet off the sink.

Install the New Faucet

1. Apply a thin layer of plumber's putty to the bottom of the new faucet.

2. Place the new faucet on the sink and secure it with the mounting nuts. Tighten the nuts with the adjustable wrench.

3. Attach the water supply lines to the faucet using the adjustable wrench. Make sure to wrap the threads of the water supply lines with Teflon tape before attaching them to the faucet.

4. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to secure the handle(s) to the faucet.

5. Use the hex key to tighten the set screw on the handle(s).
