How to Remove a 3-Hole Delta Bathroom Faucet

Replacing a bathroom faucet is a relatively simple plumbing task that can be completed in a few hours. However, before you can install a new faucet, you must first remove the old one. If you have a 3-hole Delta bathroom faucet, follow these steps to remove it safely and efficiently.

The first step is to turn off the water supply to the faucet. There should be two shut-off valves located under the sink. Turn both valves clockwise to close them.

Once the water is turned off, you can begin disassembling the faucet. Start by removing the aerator, which is the small screen at the end of the spout. Use a pair of pliers to loosen the aerator and then unscrew it by hand.

Next, remove the handle. There is a small set screw located on the underside of the handle. Loosen the set screw with a screwdriver and then pull the handle straight up to remove it.
