How to Repair a Leaking Kohler Bathroom Faucet

1. Gather Your Tools

2. Turn off the Water Supply

The first step is to turn off the water supply to the faucet. There are usually two shut-off valves under the sink, one for hot water and one for cold water. Turn both valves clockwise to close them.

3. Remove the Handle

6. Replace the O-rings

The O-rings are small rubber gaskets that seal the stem against the faucet body. To replace the O-rings, simply remove the old O-rings from the stem and replace them with new ones. Be sure to lubricate the new O-rings with a small amount of petroleum jelly before installing them.

7. Reassemble the Faucet

Once the O-rings are replaced, you can reassemble the faucet. Insert the stem back into the faucet body and tighten the packing nut. Replace the handle and tighten the set screw. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

8. Troubleshooting
